Owner Chris Johnson brings almost 15 years of off-road experience along with a background in aerospace machining to Rock-Tech Offroad. After many years of helping friends build off-road vehicles (and correcting the work of other shops) out of his home garage, Chris left the aerospace industry in 2002 and began Rock-Tech Offroad after seeing an immediate need for a reputable off-road shop in the North Orange County area. Armed with his extensive background as a machinist and detail-oriented fabricator, Chris was able to fill that void and has been producing reliable off-road performance vehicles ever since. From day one, our focus at Rock-Tech Offroad has always been on providing superior, quality service at a fair price. We also believe the customer is our top priority and want them to leave here with dependable and trail-worthy vehicles, whether taking them on the famed “Hammer Trails” in Johnson Valley or a weekend trip to the beach. At Rock-Tech Offroad, our knowledge base extends to all makes of vehicles, with an emphasis on International Harvesters. Chris has been collecting, restoring and off-roading Internationals since high school and is also a past president of Scouts West (www.scoutswest.com).
